			<title>Internship with Professionals</title>

<p align="justify"><strong>&ldquo;Professionals&rdquo; Public Policy Institution</strong> is open to build cooperation <em>(i.e. Internship courses)</em> with recent university graduates or graduate students who are interested in research. Successful candidates will be appointed to particular research project under direct supervision by Project/Research coordinator. 			<title>Round-table: &quot;Who is an Armenian?&quot;</title>

<p align="justify">On November 25, 2008 <strong>"Professionals" Public Policy Institution </strong>in partnership with <strong>"Policy Forum-Armenia"</strong> (USA) organized an off-the-record discussion on the topic: <em><strong>"Who&rsquo;s an Armenian?"</strong></em></p>
<p align="justify"><br/>The following fellows had presentations: <strong>Tamara Vardanyan </strong>("Noravank" SEF), <strong>Irina Alaverdyan</strong> ("Policy Forum-Armenia") and <strong>Hovhannes Nikoghosyan</strong> ("Professionals"). After these short presentations the participants had the opportunity to introduce their own vision and put questions before speech-makers on the topic. At the round-table former Armenian PM (1998-1999) <em>Armen Darbinian</em> was present. </p>
<p align="justify"><br/>That was the first meeting in such format. <strong>"Professionals" </strong>would encourage your active role in forthcoming events.</p>

			<title>&quot;Professionals&quot; took part in mini-game Model OSCE</title>

<p align="justify">November 1-2, 2008 Model OSCE took place in one of Armenian cities Tsakhadzor. The model-game was sponsored by the <em>OSCE Office in Yerevan.</em> In the framework of the model lots of issues were discussed including the problems of national minorities, migration and democratization of the countries in transition. The participants were young specialists acting as the ambassadors of OSCE member-states. </p>
<p align="justify">&nbsp;</p>
<p align="justify">By the end of the model the participants were awarded with certificates on behalf of the OSCE. <strong>Public Policy Institution's</strong> <em>Luiza Galanteryan </em>received one of the three nominations <em>&ldquo;The best position player&rdquo;. </em></p>

<p align="justify"><strong>&ldquo;Professionals&rdquo;</strong> believe that such kinds of events must be welcomed to develop Armenian society. </p>]]></description>

			<title>Round-table: &quot;Armenian sovereign democracy&quot;</title>

<p align="justify">On October the 7th <strong>"Professionals"</strong> Public Policy Institution organized the IV round-table entitled "Armenian sovereign democracy". "Professionals"&rsquo;s researcher Luiza Galanteryan came out with the report dedicated to the political processes taking place in the Republic of Armenia since independence. </p>
<p align="justify">&nbsp;</p>
<p align="justify">The reasons of unbalanced democracy in Armenia were put on the agenda. During the discussion new ways were suggested to solve the issues of real democratic form of government implementation. Within the framework of the seminar comparative analysis of the levels of democracy in transitional states was also realized. </p>
<p align="justify">&nbsp;</p>
<p align="justify">The seminars conducted by the <strong>"Professionals"</strong> are of great interest for a wide audience as they put on the agenda the most important local and regional issues. </p>
<p align="justify">&nbsp;</p>
<p align="justify">Seminars are held each Tuesday and will take place till November.</p>

<p align="justify">&ldquo;Professionals&rdquo; Public Policy Institution is announcing the <strong>IV seminar-discussion</strong> to be held.</p>
<p align="justify">&nbsp;</p>
<p align="justify">Since September the 9th the Public Policy Institution has been organizing seminars on ad-hoc agenda including the issues of economy, law, political science and social relations in the countries of transition. The seminars are held each Tuesday in the small Conference Hall of Slavonic University. </p>

<p align="justify"><br/>We invite young people, senior, MA and PhD students, who are ready to push active discussion on the topic. Most active participants will have the chance to collaborate with &ldquo;Professionals&rdquo; and develop their knowledge and experience. </p>
